I build useful software from real problems.

VPbuild leads a portfolio of tools for construction, documents, enterprise workflows and everyday life.

Define the building once. Get quantities you can trace.

Building quantities are usually measured by hand from drawings and retyped into spreadsheets. When the geometry changes, the measuring starts again, and the final figures lose their link to the elements they came from.

Status: Alpha

Alpha: the build runs on test devices and is checked against reference quantities. Access is by invitation.

What the Alpha does today

  • Declare the building with numbersFloor cells, walls, doors and columns are entered as dimensions on an Android phone: metres for the plan, millimetres for members. Rooms are detected automatically.
  • Get structural and finish quantitiesColumns, beams, slabs, slab reinforcement and foundations, plus finishes by room, all calculated from the model.
  • Trace every figureOpen a line to see each element's contribution, then tap a trace to jump to that element on the plan. Lines without a matching norm are flagged, not hidden.
  • Export to Excel in Vietnamese or EnglishThe report language is independent of the app language. Both files carry identical numbers.

How VPbuild works

Six steps are working in the Alpha. Drawing output and cost stay on the roadmap until they are verified in a release.
Review how it works
  1. 01Available in Alpha

    Declare floors

Build the plan from floor cells typed in metres. Add cells from an edge, and move a vertex to follow a skewed lot boundary.

  2. 02Available in Alpha

    Architecture

Place walls, doors and columns on the cells. Closed areas become rooms with clear areas and finish specifications.

  3. 03Available in Alpha

    Structure

Suggest a beam frame, generate foundations from ground-floor columns and declare slab reinforcement runs, then adjust.

  4. 04Available in Alpha

    Calculate

Quantities grouped in construction sequence, by floor, by room and for reinforcement.

  5. 05Available in Alpha

    Trace

Every line opens into the elements and dimensions behind it.

  6. 06Available in Alpha

    Export

Excel workbook in Vietnamese or English, with a warning if any wall face has no material yet.

  7. 07Roadmap, not available

    Drawings and cost

DXF, PDF, labour, equipment rates and preliminary cost.

03Construction Tools

From component dimensions to materials and purchase cost.

Status: Currently BuildingActive implementation is underway.

Many jobs do not need a building model. A foreman ordering materials for one slab, a wall or a staircase needs quick component quantities and a purchase list, but ends up with a calculator, a norms book and a spreadsheet.

No building model required. Construction Tools starts from one component; whole-building geometry and drawings belong to VPbuild.

  • Component quantities

Enter type, dimensions and count for slabs, beams, walls and other components.

  • Consolidated quantity schedule

Combine several components into one schedule.

  • Material conversion

Convert measured work into materials using named norms, units and rounding rules.

  • Purchasing cost

Apply your own current prices to get quantities to buy and estimated material cost.

What makes a quantity takeoff traceable

A quantity is only useful if someone else can check it. Four links every line of a takeoff should keep, and how to test your own schedule.
